Meet Jane
Twenty years ago, the opportunity to work as a wedding specialist presented itself, and I have never looked back.
Growing up, I was the oldest of five girls in a household with a working, single mom. I learned to plan, prepare and organize my sisters’ days, and sometimes, even my mom’s. When I became the mom of three boys (and a boy dog), things were a little different, but raising them to be unique, silly gentlemen (now with wonderful wives, mind you) was the greatest (and many times the most stressful) experience of my life. While wrangling my boys, running to baseball games, band concerts, school plays and meetings with the school principal, I found time to continue my modeling and spokesperson work as well as volunteer in our community. I also spent ten years managing, writing and producing pageants for the Miss America system.
Everyone going in different directions, needing guidance, multiple decisions that needed to be made in a timely manner, budget management, fashion advice, etiquette… the list goes on. My life experience pretty much trained me to be a wedding planner.
Every couple wants a unique wedding experience for themselves and their guests. It is the couple that makes the wedding unique. Listening to my couples, learning about them and their plans for their wedding, their honeymoon, their future together; this is what makes me the best planner for you.
Planning a wedding is not brain surgery (I had a bride who was an actual brain surgeon), but it can be time consuming (another full time job for you!), stressful (cutting that guest list down!) and overload you with decision making (the dress, the decor, the food). The list of responsibilities never seems to end.
My goal is to guide you when needed, to help you make decisions, to support your decisions, avoid expensive mistakes—to be your sounding board and your cheerleader.
Ultimately, I want you to have the best planning experience and the most perfect wedding day ever. As perfect as you want it, I want it more perfect.
